Overthinking comes in many forms, but the biggest sign is not taking action on any of the plans you make.
Some people never plan at all, but it’s worse to even create all these detailed plans that sound good on paper but are never executed on.
The other day, I came across plans I created years ago that I never took action on. I thought about how far along I’d be if I had just taken action on these plans instead of letting them sit and rot in some drawer.

How to take action
Analyzing things to the point of inaction is worthless.
Taking action can seem like some insurmountable task, so that’s why you need to get the ball rolling. Once you get out of your head, it all becomes so much easier as long as you don’t stop.
Set a timer
Seriously. Get a timer.
Set the timer for 20 minutes. For those next 20 minutes, you can only take action. You can’t plan, you can’t think, you can’t do anything else but take action on the plans you’ve made.
You have to start getting out of your head and start taking action, even if it’s incredibly tiny steps.
